The purpose of VeLiRe is to develop complete LED technology lighting systems adapted to different varieties of agri-food plants in order to maximize their development. An improvement in production and product quality is expected. As the LED makes it possible to fine tune the transmitted wavelengths of light, the lighting developed will include real lighting recipes specifically studied and adapted to the desired plant variety. Two aspects will be pursued, namely to develop more general lighting for scientific research, and more specific products adapted to horticulture.
