Teker is a family business active in the production, sale and distribution of chicken products. Products are sold in the catering sector through wholesalers and retailers. In recent years, the company has focused on more elaborate products such as marinated chicken fillet cubes, döners and chicken wings. Since the company was founded, the aim has been to integrate all the skills needed to carry out the entire production process, from the delivery of whole chickens to the packaging of finished products.
The aim of the recently launched investment program is to build a new production plant in the Jumet area of Charleroi, at a cost of 30 million euros. This investment is perfectly in line with Teker’s growth strategy, and will enable the company to optimize operational efficiency and reinforce its competitiveness in the market. The expected economic benefits include significant sales growth, expansion of the customer portfolio and improved profitability thanks to a more efficient production process. In addition, the investment is expected to create over fifty new jobs.
